Description
Integrable systems provide valuable insights into the study of non-perturbative physics and strongly interacting models. The goal of the IGST conference series is to cover advances in this domain and its applications, in particular to string theories and higher-dimensional gauge theories, but also in broader areas such as mathematical physics or statistical and condensed matter systems. It brings together a wide range of experts in these subjects, from leading researchers to earlier-stage ones, to present their recent results, identify future research directions, and foster new collaborations.
The 2024 edition will take place from June 17-21 at the Instituto Principia in São Paulo, Brazil.
Info for participants:
Participants must register in order to get their name tags before the start of the talks, between 8:30 am and 9:30 am on Monday 17th June, at the entrance of the conference venue (Teatro Digital).
The Conference Dinner, open to all participants, will take place on the evening of Tuesday 18th June at Bovinu’S, on Alameda Santos, 2393 – Cerqueira César, São Paulo. We plan to leave at 18:30 from Centro de Ciencas (ie. where we have coffee breaks/discussion) and walk to the restaurant in order to start dinner at 19:00.
Conference Program:
The conference IGST 2024 will last 5 days, counting 25 invited talks. Our of the latter, we foresee 13 sessions for blackboard research talks (45′) and 12 sessions for slides research talks (30′) by the invited speakers. See the page schedule & speakers for more details.
There will be three research talks every morning, and 2-3 research talks in the afternoons, with Friday afternoon being free for discussions. Two daily coffee breaks will be served, and a longer break will take place for lunch.
A list of 7 selected short (10′) talks by young participants will be presented during two afternoon Gong-Show sessions (Wednesday and Thursday). A number of selected Posters will be displayed in the atrium of the venue, in order to facilitate the engagement of the participants during the coffee breaks.
A jury will decree the best invited talk by a junior researcher, and the best poster. Both will be awarded with a certificate and a prize by the GATIS+ collaboration.
